Connects to your bank through Plaid
Reads your practice's bank activity, with nothing to enter by hand.
Keeps QuickBooks current
Reconciles and categorizes every week. Your accountant gets clean books.
Messages you what matters
The month-end close, margin per treatment and what's left to collect, before you ask.
How Daniel does it
The month-end close, in one text message.
This is how Daniel messages you when he closes the month. He has already reconciled the bank, categorized every expense in QuickBooks and matched revenue against what Sara collected. What reaches you is the conclusion, not the spreadsheet.
And if you ask how next month is looking, he projects from what is already booked and collected. Meet Daniel, the finance analyst on Sara's team.
Daniel flags how the numbers are doing Accounting for medical practices, in three steps.
Connect your bank and QuickBooks
Authorize your practice's accounts through Plaid and connect your QuickBooks. Nothing to migrate, nothing to enter by hand.
Daniel reconciles and categorizes every week
He matches each bank transaction against what Sara collected, categorizes it by treatment line and keeps the books current.
He messages you the close and what to do
What you billed, what you spent, the margin you kept and what's still to collect. If there are unpaid deposits, he hands them to Sara.
Month-end close
The month closed, without opening a spreadsheet.
Daniel closes the month on his own and tells you in three lines: what you billed, what you spent and the margin you kept, against the month before. If you want the detail, it's in the dashboard. If not, the message is enough.
- Revenue, expenses and margin for the month
- Compared with the month before
- Reconciled in QuickBooks before he messages you

Margin per treatment
Which treatment makes money and which one doesn't.
Billing a lot isn't the same as earning. Daniel matches each line's expenses against what Sara collected (deposits, consults and gift cards through Stripe) and tells you what actually leaves a margin. In a dental practice: cleanings, implants or orthodontics. In a med spa: Botox, laser or facials.

Money to collect
Daniel finds money to collect. Sara goes and collects it.
Every week Daniel checks which deposits and payments are still outstanding. He shows them to you, you approve with one message, and Sara writes each patient with their payment link until it comes in. No one at the front desk has to call anyone.
- Spots unpaid deposits and outstanding payments
- You approve with one message
- Sara collects over text with a payment link, like any deposit
Sara Active now Alerts and forecast
If something shifts, he flags it in time.
An expense that doesn't add up, a vendor that charged twice, a week with less revenue than usual: Daniel sees it in the bank feed and tells you that day, not at the close. And with what's already booked and collected, he projects how next month will close.
- Odd or duplicate expenses
- Revenue dips against your usual
- Next month's forecast from the calendar and Sara's deposits

How it looks in your dashboard
Every transaction leaves a trail.
In your dashboard, every transaction Daniel reviews carries a state. At a glance you know what's reconciled, what's still to collect and what he flagged for review.
The bank transaction is matched and categorized in QuickBooks.
A deposit or payment still outstanding that Daniel spotted. With your ok, Sara goes and collects it.
An odd expense, a duplicate charge or a revenue dip Daniel flagged that day.
The monthly summary: revenue, expenses, margin and which treatment drove it. The same one you get by text.
Frequently asked questions
Does Daniel replace my accountant?
No. Daniel handles the day to day: reconciles the bank, categorizes every transaction and keeps QuickBooks current. Your accountant or CPA still does taxes, payroll and everything that needs their signature, except they now get clean books instead of a box of receipts.
What do I need to get started?
Connect your practice's bank accounts through Plaid and your QuickBooks. Nothing gets migrated or entered by hand. Onboarding is done with you.
Does it work with my bank?
Daniel reads transactions through Plaid, which connects to thousands of banks. Which banks and countries are covered for your practice is something we check in the demo.
Does Daniel see my clinical data?
No. Daniel only works with bank transactions and the payments Sara records. He doesn't access patient charts or any medical information; that stays where it is today.
What if I don't use QuickBooks?
Today Daniel keeps the books in QuickBooks. If your practice runs on another accounting system, let's look at it in the demo.
How does he know the margin per treatment?
He matches two sources: the expenses he categorizes from the bank (supplies, services, provider fees) and the payments Sara takes through Stripe, which already carry the treatment. From that he builds the margin per line: cleanings, implants, orthodontics, laser, facials, whatever your practice does.
How much does it cost?
Pricing is built for each practice and shared in the demo. It's a monthly subscription; what the plan with Daniel includes is defined there too.
